MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Match Healthcare Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant Contractor to provide high-quality personal care and support to our clients. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being, and promoting independence while maintaining dignity and respect.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

-Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
-Support clients with mobility, including helping them move around safely and using mobility aids.
-Assist with meal preparation, feeding and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
-Provide emotional and social support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
-Administer medication as per care plans and document accordingly.
-Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions to healthcare professionals.
-Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
-Follow company policies, procedures and care plans.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
-Prior experience in a care setting preferred.
-Knowledge of safeguarding and care regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-A compassionate and patient nature.
-Enhanced DBS check required.
-Right to work in the UK required.
