As a Teacher of Geography at Wrenn School, you will bring your expertise and passion for art and design to inspire both students and colleagues, driving innovative teaching practices and fostering a culture of academic excellence. Our ideal candidate would:

• Have the ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with students and colleagues.
• Have a readiness to share expertise, skills, and knowledge, coupled with the ability to inspire others to do the same.
Requirements:
To apply for the Teacher of Geography opportunity, you must hold:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Experience in teaching Geography at key stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Recent and relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Wrenn School is unique, we are lucky enough to be a split site school, enabling us to provide a lower and upper school site. The school has beautiful grounds, purpose-built Art, Music, Drama and Design Technology, Wrenn Astro, playing fields, hard play areas and Gyms provide excellent facilities for our pupils. About the Geography Department
The Geography Department at Wrenn School offers a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum designed to inspire curiosity and deepen understanding of the world. At Key Stage 3, students explore a wide range of global locations and develop essential geographical skills, including map reading, statistical analysis, and focused writing techniques. The GCSE program follows the AQA specification, covering topics such as natural hazards, physical landscapes, and urban challenges. For those continuing into Sixth Form, the A Level course delves into both physical and human geography, examining water and carbon cycles, coastal systems, global governance, and contemporary urban environments. Led by dedicated educators, the department aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to navigate and appreciate the complexities of our planet.
About Creative Education Trust:
Creative Education Trust was established in 2010 to work in England’s post-industrial and coastal towns and cities. We are now a network of 17 schools educating 14,500 children and young people.
We have chosen to work with schools in challenging circumstances.
