Job Title: Senior/Associate BREEAM Assessor

Location: Reading / London

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Experience Dependent)

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior/Associate BREEAM Assessor to lead our team and manage new construction projects focused on sustainability assessments, including Whole Life Cycle (WLC) and Circular Economy/Energy assessments. As a key member of the team, you will oversee projects, liaise with clients, and ensure all assessments meet the required BREEAM standards. This role offers a hybrid working environment with flexibility to work from home or the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage BREEAM assessments for new construction projects, ensuring compliance with BREEAM standards.


  • Oversee WLC, Circular Economy, and energy assessments, supporting clients in achieving sustainability goals.


  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.


  • Act as the lead BREEAM Assessor, providing expertise in sustainable building design and construction practices.


  • Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring high standards of work and professional development.


  • Collaborate with the wider sustainability team and other specialists to provide integrated solutions.


  • Ensure the timely completion of assessments and reports, liaising with stakeholders throughout.


    Essential Qualifications & Experience:

    • BREEAM New Construction Assessor.


    • BREEAM Accredited Professional (BREEAM AP).


    • Proven experience in leading and delivering BREEAM assessments for a range of projects.


    • Strong understanding of Whole Life Cycle (WLC) and Circular Economy/Energy assessments.


    • Ability to manage client relationships and communicate technical information clearly.


      • Previous experience managing a team and mentoring junior staff.
