New Year - New Role?
At GI Group, we have an exciting opportunity for van drivers to join our client based in Warwick. The ideal candidate will be placed on a temporary contract between February-April 2025.
Overview:
* Handball is to be expected pushing trolleys and this position may include some multi-drop runs (Up to 10 per shift).
* This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job.
* The ideal candidate will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.
* The ideal candidate will be confident in liaising with site to update them on any delays or issues should they encounter any.
Shifts and Hours:
* Monday to Friday - No Weekends!
* Start Times: 04:00-06:00am
Rates of Pay:
* Monday to Friday - £12.25 / £13.73 per hour with holiday pay included
* PAYE ONLY
Qualifications and Experience:
1. The ideal candidate will hold a valid driving license with a minimum of 2 years' experience
2. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a van driver.
3. Clean driving record and a commitment to safe driving practices.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
