An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy Property & Asset Management Team at the heart of Havant Borough Council as
Estates Assistant (Land).
Based in our modern Plaza building in Havant, with easy access to transport links and local shops, we are a friendly team and
offer a flexible working environment with attendance in the office combined with remote working to meet service requirements.
The role is key to the day-to-day management of council owned land.
This is a hands-on role with a busy workload, suited to a self-starter with good people and organisational skills.
Being situated on the coast, the Borough is an extremely pleasant place to work and our offices benefit from free parking and a
café with excellent coffee!
About the team
The Property & Asset Management Team is a friendly, multi-disciplinary team, skilled in asset management, property and land
management, building maintenance and statutory compliance.
We work closely across the whole organisation, being responsible for operational land and buildings, together with our
non-operational, commercial and investment property interests.
About you
* You will have experience of working in an office/hybrid working environment in a customer facing role.
* You will be able to work on your own initiative, presenting information to a wide variety of audiences and with a good
attention to detail.
* You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all channels
and levels, including external contacts within the third sector.
* Experience of working in the public sector would be desirable.
* You will have the ability to work well under pressure, often having to prioritise competing demands.
