Location: To support a healthy work-life balance, we ask that candidates live within a 30-minute commute of Sacrewell Lodge Farm, Thornhaugh, Peterborough, PE8 6HJ. As there’s no public transport in the area, reliable personal transport is essential.
The Nitty Gritty Details….
This is a permanent contract, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Early morning starts (7.30am to 4pm), shifts varying based on weather conditions and overtime is available & encouraged at the weekends during peak seasons
If you're looking for a part-time or fixed-term contract, please let us know in your application.
Pay: £12.65 per hour. Paid weekly, with overtime available. We do ask for a bit of flexibility, as there will be times when extra hours are needed due to the seasonal demands of farm work.
Any hours worked beyond the contracted 39 per week are paid at time and a half.
What you’ll be doing….

As part of our dedicated farm team based at Sacrewell Farm, Peterborough, you’ll contribute to our mission of farming sustainably, protecting the environment, and providing top-quality organic produce. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of seasonal crops, while also participating in vital farm tasks such as planting, weeding, and moving crop covers.
While prior farm experience is beneficial, we're primarily seeking individuals with a positive, can-do attitude and the resilience to handle hands-on, outdoor work year-round.
What we're looking for….
Love the outdoors – Whether it’s rain or shine, you’ll thrive in a hands-on role that moves with the seasons.
Team player – Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable, with a ‘can-do’ attitude to keep things running smoothly.
Enjoy physical work – This is an active role involving lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. You’ll need to handle crates of produce weighing up to 10kg.
Good communicator – Able to speak and understand English to follow instructions and meet daily role requirements.
Organised with an eye for detail – Keeping things efficient and ensuring top-quality produce requires good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Tractor Driving Experience - Tractor driving experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
