Position: Clinical Deputy Manager
Location: Stourport-on-Severn
Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Home Manager in the overall management and leadership of the care home.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care to elderly residents, with a focus on specialised areas such as dementia care and end-of-life care.
- Oversee and mentor nursing staff, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and best practices.
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for residents.
- Liaise with residents' families and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid NMC PIN.
- Advanced clinical experience in elderly care.
- Demonstrated experience in dementia care and end-of-life care.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
-(Desirable) L5 Leadership and Management qualification, showcasing advanced leadership skills and the ability to manage at a higher level.
-Familiarity with electronic care planning systems, preferably PCS, ensuring that residents’ care plans are accurate, up-to-date, and person-centered.
-Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing individualized, person-centered care plans, ensuring each resident’s unique needs are met.
