Crynodeb

Please note, whilst this opportunity is initially for a Semi Skilled General Operative, there may be an opportunity to progress and become a Multi Skilled General Operative in the future (depending on experience and technical ability demonstrated on site), which would include a pay increase. This can be discussed at interview stage.



The Role

The General Operative (Semi Skilled) will be responsible for various types of support work both on site and in relation to assisting trades operatives. The post holder will contribute at an operational level and be responsible for ensuring that works are carried out to a high standard and in line with Health and Safety Requirements.



As a General Operative (Semi Skilled), you will:

Assist Trades Operatives in the execution of basic installation and maintenance work.
Undertake all requested general labouring works ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard.
Undertake (as requested) specialised duties such as, erecting PASMA scaffolding, Diamond Core Drilling, cement and pointing works, slabbing works, plastering repair works, small tiling works.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks.
