Main activities the post holder will carry out: Activity % time To provide systems application support to ensure rapid solutions are provided to end user problems. 10 Provide advice on technical aspects of requirements into system development and integration, including requests for changes and deviations from specifications. 15 Understand and apply relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices. 10 Lead in the assurance of technical documentation and solutions in alignment with requirements and UKHSA strategic objectives. 10 Lead in the development of support and training documentation and courses to ensure all users have up to date guidance and support. 15 Produce detailed analysis of requirements, to arrive at credible and coherent solutions. 10 Liaise with other finance and people teams, communicating technical concepts and complex issues clearly and accurately, and adapting communication style to suit the recipient. 5 To assist in ensuring the security of the finance and people systems and associated data. 25 Essential Criteria: Experience in Financial and/or Supply Chain and/or Human Resources and/or managing cloud infrastructure expertise. Significant experience of delivering systems support within an ITIL aligned organisation. Significant experience in managing Oracle Cloud or similar cloud environments. Demonstrable knowledge of managing change through the product delivery life cycle Demonstrable ability to engage and communicate technical concepts and complex issues with key stakeholders at an operational and strategic level. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. One or more of the following: Cyber Security ,Computing or IT qualification One or more of the following: SCM, HCM, EPM, ERP or OCI Foundation associate Desirable role criteria: Digital, Data & Technology: ITIL Service Management Agile Project Management Lean Six Sigma Experience managing Oracle Cloud user security. Location This role is being offered as hybrid working based at any of our Core HQs. As a hybrid worker, you will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of your contractual working hours (approximately 3 days a week pro rata, (averaged over a month) working at one of UKHSA's core HQs (Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, and London) Our core HQ offices are modern and newly refurbished with excellent city centre transport link and benefit from benefit from co-location with other government departments such as the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC). Security Clearance Level Requirement Successful candidates must pass a disclosure and barring security check. For meaningful National Security Vetting checks to be carried out individuals need to have lived in the UK for a sufficient period of time. You should normally have been resident in the United Kingdom for the last 5 years as the role requires Security Check (SC) clearance. UK residency less than the outlined periods may not necessarily bar you from gaining national security vetting and applicants should contact the Vacancy Holder / Recruiting Manager listed in the advert for further advice. Salary Information Market Pay Supplement (MPS) of £5000 for permanent staff.
