Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial modelling and reviewing of investments and business plans. The client has outlined the importance of looking to meet with candidates who have strong financial modelling experience with business partnering experience. Core responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research, assisting in the underwriting process of pipeline deals, transaction due diligence, analysing and maintaining models for existing investments, and monitoring investment KPIs.
  • Create financial models and reports that convey complex information succinctly and accurately.
  • Process and interpret complicated business and financial information.
  • Write market and financial research summaries.
  • Identify business risks and potential mitigations.
  • Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies.
  • Perform other investment-related ad-hoc duties as assigned.


What you'll need to succeed

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
  • Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols.
  • Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics and economics.
  • Excellent investment analysis software user.
