Nine Maidens AP Academy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Primary Teacher with Primary Lead responsibilities to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Primary Department on our journey of school improvement. The successful candidate will teach a small class and lead our Primary department, ensuring the highest standards of education and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership:Take lead responsibility for the primary provision under the direction of the principal.
• Standards:Lead and raise the standards of all areas of primary education.
• Curriculum Implementation:Oversee the implementation of the curriculum and teaching and learning across the primary department.
• Collaboration:Work collaboratively with primary staff and the leadership team to ensure cohesive and effective educational practices.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience in primary education
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to school improvement and raising educational standards

Wave are an established and successful Multi Academy Trust, comprising of Alternative Provision Academies (APAs), Medical Academies (including Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s child and adolescent mental health unit ‘Sowenna’) and a Special Academy.
We provide education for vulnerable pupils aged 4 – 19 across Devon and Cornwall. The Trust has a national reputation for the delivery of outstanding pupil outcomes including enabling pupils to access the most appropriate education setting and transition to employment, training and higher or further education. The Trust educates over 1000 pupils and employs over 350 members of staff.

• Provide a balanced and broad curriculum that promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils and prepares them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.
