Crynodeb
Provide Personal Medical Services to acceptable clinical standards to patients, both in surgery and on home visits. Respond to medical problems presented by patients on the medical list, including history taking, examination, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, referral where appropriate and adequate documentation with READ coding onto the GP Computer system. Provide appropriate health promotion and preventative health care and advice to the Practice patients attending the centre within the context of primary health care. Attend all team meetings and other meetings as may be necessary for PMS duties. Carry out clinically related administrative and non-clinical duties needed for the delivery of personal medical services. Provide free certification in line with Schedule 9 of NHS GMS Regulations (1992). Provide emergency cover for absent colleagues from time to time as detailed. Maintain patient clinical records in line with the electronic patient record system.
