Job Description

Job Title: Activity Assistant

Location: Waverley Residential Home, Galashiels

Hours: 10.50 hours per week

Salary*: £12.60 per hour/ £24,308.97 pro rata per annum

Contract: Permanent

Training: All training is provided.

Requirements: PVG Adults – we will do this for you!

The Role

Supporting people with complex needs and enhanced dementia

Provide assistance and support to Activity Teams within the care homes to enable planned activities to take place.

Be involved with the Activity Teams within each care home to learn about the individual requirements for activities

To facilitate planned group activity

In partnership with the Activity Teams within each care home, plan events to encourage socialisation, recreation and relaxation.
