Example of Responsibilities
General Vehicle repairs
Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues.
Conduct routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tyre changes, and brake inspections.
Repair and replace worn or broken parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
Ensure vehicles are safe and in excellent operating condition.
Keep detailed records of all work performed.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle condition and necessary
repairs.
Conduct MOT’s Classes 4/7
Experience/ Skills Required
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience as a Car Mechanic is essential
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles. Excellent problem-solving skills. Valid drivers license.
Related qualifications or certificates would be preferred.
