We are looking to recruit a Freedom of Information Officer to join our Complaints and Freedom of Information Team on a full-time secondment until 31 March 2026.
You will assist the Complaints and FOI Manager and the Complaints and FOI Officers with recording, processing and resolving information requests submitted to the Authority, including when cases are referred to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You will be able to deal competently with requests received from members of the public and assist colleagues with the process concerning new and existing requests.
You will have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to work flexibly to assist in ensuring the Authority can fulfil its statutory obligations with regards to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR).
