Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: To provide a clear focus for research nursing, giving a highly visible and authoritative presence within the unit. To be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and ensuring that the needs of the patient are placed at the centre of care delivery whatever the setting. To maintain a clinical case load. Ensure research nurses work at an appropriate practice level, providing a specialist service and level of expertise in their specialist area ensure their interventions are timely and well documented. Ensure research nurses offer all relevant patients a Holistic Needs Assessment at appropriate patient milestones, be responsible for this data collection and make sure that the HNA enables the research nurses to devise personalised care plans, ensuring patients needs are met holistically. Provide clinical research direction to the development and ongoing evaluation of the Haemato-Oncology research service
