CarpenterStarting Salary £27,500 per annum Permanent | 40 hours per week |52 week contract We have an excellent opportunity for a Carpenter and Joiner within our Works Department here at Felsted School and the main responsibilities of the role include:Assisting the Works Manager with ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running,presentation and management of the School site, ensuring a warm, clean, safe and secure environment for all.Carrying out all types of planned and reactive carpentry works to maintain, improve and enhance school buildings internally and externally, whilst working in conjunction with other Works Dept tradesmen as directed by the Works Manager.The successful candidate will have experience in building maintenance to help ensure the smooth running of systems across the school site.This year-round role is a permanent position, working 40 hours five days per week between 8am to 5pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Working days are Monday to Friday with the addition of the weekend working program which involves some Saturday working.
