Agricar Limited is a successful family owned agricultural business with sites throughout Scotland. Established in 1986. We are market leaders in agricultural, ground care and homeowner products, holding the market leading New Holland franchise along with many other brands.
Each year we endeavour to take on a new Apprentice Agricultural Service Technician to join our dedicated team at our busy Laurencekirk depot. To begin an apprenticeship there is an essential entry requirement of English and Maths at minimum Nat 4 and any other 2 subjects at Nat 5.

We require our Apprentice Agricultural Service Technician to have the following skills & characteristics:
• Proactive
• Conscientious
• Strong communication skills
• Good timekeeper
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Knowledge of modern agricultural machinery, technologies and farming practices
• Provide support to other team members with repairs and maintenance on New Holland equipment and relative products.
• Carry out supervised repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain company image by appearance, conduct and respect confidentiality.
• Willingness to work overtime as and when required.
• Administer job cards and timesheets with relevant information.
The successful candidate will complete a 4-year apprenticeship and will be enrolled in the CNH Apprenticeship Programme and attend block release at Oatridge College, West Lothian. Your aim will be to achieve a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Land-based Technology.
