Summary

The Forge Holiday Group is looking for an SEO Manager to take on their next career challenge within a leading name in the holiday industry.


Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover
Work Days & Hours: Working 4 days out of 5, 30 hours per week
Working Policy: Flexible hybrid-working policy, with a minimum of two days a week from our Chester head office
Team: Marketing
Reports to: Head of Owned & Earned Media

About the SEO Manager Role
The SEO Manager will be responsible for the delivery of our SEO strategy for Forge Holiday Group and its Caravans Division (UKcaravans4hire). The role will include acting as a stakeholder on key projects, delivery of agreed objectives and key results, and driving growth in SEO visibility.

As part of the role, you will work with the Head of Owned and Earned Media and alongside our wider SEO team to develop a strategy that helps to grow our market share at the forefront of the UK Holiday industry search.

We are looking to hire an individual who has a passion for SEO and the ambition to develop a best-in-class SEO strategy which drives commercial results for our brands.



Your Responsibilities:
As SEO Manager, you will be responsible for the following areas of accountability:


Stakeholder management and reporting
Acting as a stakeholder in key projects including website migrations
Growing customer bookings through the SEO channel
Closely monitoring SERP performance and resolving any issues quickly and proactively
Delivering transparent, accurate and meaningful insights on a regular basis
Ensuring delivery of SEO to agreed KPIs, budgeted volumes and cost per booking.

Essential Experience:


Strategic SEO expertise demonstrated by delivering successful campaigns in a previous role
A proven track record of managing, leading, and engaging with stakeholders across a large business
The ability to communicate clearly
Competent in using analytics platforms and industry tools including Google Analytics and Google Search Console
An analytical mindset and the ability to extract insight and action from data
Technical SEO proficiency with a profound knowledge of technical aspects such as website structure, mobile friendliness, site speed, and schema markup
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver to deadlines
Confidence and the ability to build rapport with colleagues
Excellent communication
A commercial mindset and the ability to identify opportunities and act upon them with thoughtful prioritisation.


Nice to have:


Knowledge of ASO (App Store Optimisation)
HTML/CSS coding knowledge and competency
Local SEO experience · An understanding of UX principles
Public speaking and presentation skills
