Summary
Mentor role required to support a young man with Autism who has a daily routine Monday - Friday 10am-3pm. Support is required for his following routine.
10-12.30 Gym and then Swim
12.30-1.00pm Lunch
1.15-3.15pm Work experience placement
This candidate will be willing to engage in good communication with the young man.
Able to support his social skills in his routine and motivate his health and wellbeing.
Promote him towards ownership of his independence
Provide him with skills to manage coping strategies to move him towards paid work
through his work experience placement.
The candidate will be Autism Friendly, full driving licence and enhanced DBS.
