Leeds Childrens Hospital is one of the largest Childrens hospitals in the country. The Cat Unit is a busy large department which sees up to 1500 patients every month. There is a great team ethos and staff work together to address the acute healthcare needs of children and young people in Leeds in an outstanding and efficient manner. We continually strive to develop our service to be the key paediatric hub in Leeds Leeds Teaching Hospitals is committed to our process of redeploying 'at risk' members of our existing workforce to new roles. To undertake administrative duties at ward level including the accurate and timely recording of patient activity data on Trust systems. To undertake clerical and related duties on the ward and enable Sister/Charge Nurse and other ward staff to concentrate more freely on direct patient care. This will involve considerable liaison with other departments and wards on behalf of the ward staff.
