Job Purpose:
Create and manage the marketing activities and content for the Sales and Aftersales departments.
Produce and co-ordinate communications and marketing activity for new and used cars and for the aftersales department to assist achievement of agreed business objectives set by General Management.
Responsibilities
Create Digital Content
Manage Used and New car stock advertising.
Manage Digital content and strategy
Manage website and external partners to ensure website operation is maximised
Coordinate with external lead providers to ensure lead management is effective.
Create manage and evaluate marketing programmes.
Create content for social media channels.
Create a marketing plan to comply with manufacturer standards.
Manage media providers ensuring creative is corporate and arrives with providers on time.
Prepare, manage and deliver against the CUPRA and SEAT marketing plan detailing all activity.
Ensure the web site is kept relevant and up-to-date.
Ensure used car stock is ready for promotion and display within 4 days of arriving on site, (i.e. if arrive on a Monday on web site and display Friday).
Maintain accurate visible new and used stock with our partners like Auto Trader
Maximise commercial opportunities through developing and implementing effective and consistent events and campaigns.
Maximise commercial opportunities through developing and implementing campaigns within specific market sectors using catalyst for aftersales and other marketing tools.
Regularly communicate and interact with members of other departments to develop the business and the SEAT Dealer team ethos.
Devise initiatives that will assist the retention of current customer base and increase awareness.
Generate new and used car and aftersales enquiries.
Work with internal department managers and manage external agencies.
Organisation and management of off-site events and product placements–, initial contact, organising materials, booking of space, exhibition unit, livery on vehicles, manning the stand and ensure all enquiries are followed up.
Organisation of on-site events as above.
Manage day to day relationships with marketing/ sponsorship partner maximising value achieved.
Manage the creation of bespoke / SEAT UK produced adverts (both new and used cars and the aftersales department).
Creation and regular updating of suite of customer letters. Creation of tactical letters for direct mail activity.
Organisation of mail shots for all departments. Collating articles for inclusion in Dealer Newsletter.
Fulfilment of enquiries – brochure / further information requests.
Organisation of the showroom to ensure that it meets SEAT standards (DVD, display cars, product and environmental labels, posters, number plates etc.)
Ensuring that merchandise cabinet is stocked and priced at all times.
Maintenance of used car display, display board, finance examples, used car stock list and local used car advertising.
Ensure used car stock is promoted via selected websites including Autotrader.
Required Experience
Previous experience with managing social media pages
Previously created social media content (videos, images, etc)
Worked in a customer service environment
Car driving license
FCA regulation understanding (desirable)
Good analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
