We’re looking for an exceptional Housing Manager to lead the operational delivery of high-quality housing and estate management services. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping safe, connected, and thriving neighbourhoods.
As a Housing Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate a personalised, customer-first approach. This involves taking ownership of issues, showing empathy and understanding towards matters that are important to residents, and developing innovative solutions that enhance service delivery and boost customer satisfaction. You will also need to bring expertise and experience in housing management, including a solid understanding of relevant legislation, arrears prevention, and anti-social behaviour procedures.
Key responsibilities of the Housing Manager:
• Lead, manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team through innovation and
continuous improvement.
• Delivering housing and estate management services within financial boundaries,
ensuring that activities are carried out within agreed performance targets.
• Anticipating the future needs of our customers and communities.
• Define policies in line with changes in legislation and regulatory standards to
provide customer oriented operating procedures, delivering a consistently high
standard and integrated service.
• Develop and sustain multi-agency partnerships across services by working with
police, councillors, social services, primary care and other partner agencies, to
ensure effective referrals and access to services for customers.
• Ensure appropriate legal action is taken in line with pre-action protocol and CBH
policies and procedures, in co-ordination with other teams and partners, to keep
our customer safe and secure in their homes.
• Effective customer complaint management.
