Role: Mechanic with previous experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on vehicles (coaches, minibuses, and support vehicles).
- Dismantle, inspect, repair, replace, or assemble components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems.
- Diagnose mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Fabricate, align, and fit parts in accordance with specifications.
- Carry out routine servicing: oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and safety checks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and hours worked.
- Collaborate with the workshop manager to prioritize work orders and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards at all times.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and physical stamina.
- High attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
