Summary
To work in refuge and the community as an outreach worker to assist women and girls who maybe subject to domestic abuse. Most of the meetings with potential victims are in the community and confidential places of safety. This work will be on behalf of the Birmingham Crisis Centre charity which provides 24 hour refuge for women and children. The outreach work can be aimed at women and girls who may not want to go into refuge but are seeking guidance prevention and advice regarding their predicament or ongoing situation with some form of abuse or to recognise potential abusers. Some work can also be carried out in a confidential refuge.
