Skills & Experience:
Gained a City and Guilds 2230 certificate or a BTEC (Electrical or Electronic) National Certificate or equivalent.
G39 qualified
A current NRSWA Regulation certificate
Knowledge of traffic signals and control equipment
Understanding of health and safety regulations related to traffic signal systems
Experience in working with electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Must be able to demonstrate experience of working with electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
What's involved with this role: Your role will involve assisting with the provision of an efficient traffic signals service.
Key duties:
Commission, install, inspect, and maintain traffic signal systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and repair faults to keep traffic signals operating safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with the team to manage traffic flow and enhance road safety.
Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
