About the Role
We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and reliable Pitched Roofing Labourers to join our team on a roofing repairs project in Brighton and Hove. These roles will involve working in a hands-on capacity under the guidance of one of our experienced pitched roofers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build their skills in the roofing trade, with training provided on-site.
This role is ideal for those who are early in their roofing careers or have some construction/trade experience and are looking to specialise in pitched roofing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist experienced roofers with pitched roof repairs and general roofing works
Carry out site preparation, loading/unloading materials, and tidying work areas
Learn and support various tasks such as tiling repairs, insulation fitting, fascia and soffit works, and occasional flat roof repairs
Follow instructions, work safely at height, and comply with all health and safety procedures
Maintain good communication with team members and supervisors
Demonstrate a proactive and hardworking attitude on-site
What We’re Looking For
We’re after individuals who are:
Positive in attitude and willing to put in hard work
Eager to learn and open to instruction from senior roofers
Focused, practical, and able to think on their feet
Safety-conscious and sensible in their approach
Good communicators who work well as part of a team
Preferably experienced in roofing or general trades (not essential)
Holders of a full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
CSCS card holders (preferred but not essential)
Remuneration
Pay will be dependent on experience and skill level. Opportunities for progression and further training available for committed and capable candidates.
