Job: Occupational Health Manager
Location: Scotland
Salary: Up to £57,000 per annum
Hours: Full time

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Occupational Health Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers the chance to lead and shape Occupational Health services across a dynamic and diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Occupational Health team to ensure effective service delivery


  • Overseeing clinical case management, including complex referrals and return-to-work assessments


  • Managing health surveillance activities such as audiometry and spirometry


  • Supporting the development and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives


  • Delivering nurse-led clinics and overseeing pre-placement health assessments


  • Ensuring all service provision aligns with current legislation, clinical standards, and best practice


  • Providing expert advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders


    Essential Criteria:

    • NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience


    • Occupational Health qualification (Diploma/Degree level)


    • Proven experience in a managerial or senior clinical Occupational Health role


    • Skilled in clinical decision-making and managing complex cases


    • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills


    • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel


      Desirable:

      • Experience in health promotion and wellbeing campaigns


      • Background in public sector or safety-critical environments


      • Experience leading on service development and improvement initiatives
