Wigs, Hair & Make-Up Assistant
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Wigs, Hair and Make-Up Assistant to work on the West End production of MRS. WARREN’S PROFESSION.
Written by George Bernard Shaw, directed by Dominic Cooke, set & costume design by Chloe Lamford, lighting design by Jon Clark, sound design by Christopher Shutt and music by Angus MacRae – the production will open at the Garrick Theatre in May 2025.
Duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a Wigs, Hair and Make-Up Assistant on a first-class West End production.
Skills required include excellent wig setting and dressing, knowledge, and skills of make-up application. Experience in styling of Afro-textured hair and men’s hair styling is desirable.
Previous experience in a similar role on a large-scale production is essential.

Contract Type: Fixed term until Saturday, 16th August 2025, subject to two weeks’ notice by the Producer as per the SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks; 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
