China Fleet Country Club is set in 180 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, just 15 minutes from Plymouth’s city centre. We are a Country Club that offers accommodation, fitness & leisure, golf, dining, hair & beauty, weddings, conference, and events.
We are looking for a Greenkeeper to join our Greenkeeping Team.
The key responsibilities are:
• Maintain all aspects of the golf course and estate including the driving range, and around the complex.
• Maintain the golf course machinery as and when required.
• Have knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within the green keeping department and work within these guidelines
• Ensure that exceptional customer service skills and golf course etiquette are always practised when in contact with or in the area of members/guests.
The successful Greenkeeper will have:
1. NVQ Level 2 in Greenkeeping
2. Minimum 3 years of Greenkeeping experience
3. A team spirited personality, conscientious manner, pride in their job
4. Good communication skills
5. Good customer service skills
An NVQ level 3 in Greenkeeping, Health & Safety certification/training/experience, Mechanical engineering experience/training,, PA1, PA2 & PA6 spraying certificates, chainsaw certificates, and computer literacy skills would be an advantage.
Hours are full time 40 per week, Monday to Friday, between 05:00am-15:00pm, overtime at weekends will also be required.
