Job Advert

At YMCA Robin Hood Group, we exist to create safe, supportive, and empowering spaces for children, young people, and vulnerable
adults. Our Supported Housing service is at the cornerstone of that mission. We believe everyone deserves a safe place to live,
and we work tirelessly to ensure that those experiencing or are at risk of homelessness have the high quality, safe and supportive
relationships they need to thrive.

Our Supported Housing team provides person-centred accommodation to young people and vulnerable adults across Nottingham,
Ashfield, Mansfield, Worksop, and Goole.

In our quest to continually improve our practices, provide a voice to our young people and embed a culture of excellence across
our entire Supported Housing service, we are excited to be introducing a brand new role of Deputy Director of Housing.

The Opportunity: Deputy Director of Housing

As the new Deputy Director of Housing, your primary focus will be to lead on quality, compliance and continual improvement. You
will also hold the Ofsted Registration for our 16+ service which covers Nottingham, Ashfield, Mansfield, Worksop & Goole.

As our new Deputy Director of Housing, you will:

* Champion a culture where young people are always at the heart of decision-making
* Ensure that a trauma-informed approach, supported by a culture of reflective practice is evident and operating consistently
across our service.
* Act as the Registered Manager for Temporary Supported Accommodation, working within a complex regulatory and legal framework
* Lead our quality assurance agenda, ensuring that our services meet and exceed Ofsted and Regulator standards.
* Drive continuous improvement through effective processes and policies, internal audits, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder

* Ensure our services are exemplary. Review and improve our delivery models, ensure the voices of young people inform service
evolution, and work closely with the Housing Management Team to embed quality assurance into daily practice.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Ofsted, local authorities, and the Regulator of Social Housing, representing YMCA
Robin Hood Group with integrity and professionalism.

While the role doesn’t have direct line management, you will provide leadership and guidance across the Supported Housing
workforce, deputising for the Director of Housing and acting as a senior voice in the organisation.
