Camden Council is look for a School Crossing Patrol Officer (formerly known as a ‘lollipop person’) to help children use the zebra crossing on Fitzjohns Avenue to reach St Marys School, Hampstead. Full uniform (including a large STOP sign) and on-site training would be provided to the successful candidate.
This role is an ongoing temporary position from now until summer half term (June 2025), but may be extended. The officer is required to work at Fitzjohns Avenue 10 hours a week, every morning (8:15 am to 9:15am) and afternoon (3-4pm) during termtime only. Physically, the candidate would need be able to stand and walk for the entire one hour-long shifts, and have good eyesight and hearing to undertake the job safely. The role requires a valid DBS check (within 1 year).
