Crynodeb
The Speech Clinic is an independent Speech and Language Therapy Service with clinics in Swansea and Cardiff. We have a mixed adult and paediatric caseload, providing sessions in Special Schools and Colleges to children and young adults with complex learning disabilities. We have a community clinic caseload of adult and paediatric clients, including adults post-CVA, voice, Parkinson's Disease and stammering; specialist therapists also treat dysphagia clients. Our paediatric caseload are predominantly preschool language, school-age phonology/language, complex special needs and stammering.
The clinic is a small, well-supported team, with regular supervision and team meetings. We have a Graduate Recruitment Programme with multiple training and CPD opportunities.
Full-time and part-time sessions are available at Band 5 and Band 6 levels. Salary scale as per NHS, with additional benefits, such as gym membership and student loan repayments.
