About Us:
T J Home Comforts is an established and trusted provider of quality home furnishings. We are based in Chorley Town Centre, and pride ourselves on delivering a friendly, reliable, and good quality service to our customers.
The Role:
This hands-on role involves delivering customer orders, collecting stock, assembling flat-pack furniture, and maintaining an organised stockroom.
Key Responsibilities:
· Delivering customer orders across the local area
· Collecting stock from suppliers and storage locations
· Assembling flat-pack furniture at customer homes or on-site
· Keeping the stockroom organised and tidy
· Handling goods safely and lifting heavy items when required
· Providing friendly and professional customer service
What We’re Looking For:
· Must be 25 years of age or older (for insurance purposes)
· Full, clean UK driving licence
· Reliable and trustworthy
· Physically fit – this role involves regular heavy lifting
· Experience assembling flat-pack furniture
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Good timekeeping, communication skills, and a positive attitude
· Prior delivery, warehousing, or assembly experience is an advantage
What We Offer:
