Summary
Please note this position is for internal applications; only current Activate Learning Employees will be considered for this role.About the role:As a Learning Support Team Leader, you will act as a lead to our learning support team who will be providing online assistance to our learners with additional learning needs, as well as supporting staff. You will coordinate the team’s day to day responsibilities, ensuring our learners have access to the learning materials and resources to enable them to achieve their ultimate goals throughout their learning journey.In addition, you will be responsible for conducting supervisions, monitoring recruitment needs, and retention, training and developmental opportunities. You will work closely with the Group Learning Support Team Leads and Delivery managers who will provide extra operational support.This is a full time, permanent role working hybrid/remote with an expectation you will work on site one day per week. The role may require you to work weekends and evenings depending on the learner needs, so flexibility around working hours is essential.What do you need to be a successful Learning Support Team Leader at Activate Learning?The ideal candidate will be resilient, solutions focused and have a clear vision for the team. The ability to lead, coach and motivate staff is vital. Strong team values, a desire to innovate within the learning experience and the ability to adapt flexibly to the changing needs of learners are essential.You will possess a sound knowledge of SEND, safeguarding and advancing EHCP outcomes. Excellent communication and organisation skills are required alongside the ability to role model professionalism. To be able to demonstrate the initiative and drive that will contribute to the team’s overall effectiveness is a must.
