Our administration workforce is vital to our organisation, without them our front-line Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professional cannot deliver the excellent care to our patients we strive for. As an Administrator within the Trust, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Corporate operations across the hospital.

Your efforts will directly contribute to the well-being and comfort of our patients, making you an integral part of their healthcare journey.



Centralised Recruitment:

We have adopted a centralised hiring process for administration roles in bands 2-3 and 4-5. This means you apply once and are considered for multiple positions within our organisation, saving time for both candidates and managers while accessing a broader talent pool.

This week are currently recruiting for the following Bands 4 and 5 role across the organisation:
• Senior Research Support Administrator - 37.5 hours per week - 12 month FTC/Secondment

You do not need prior research delivery support experience but do need to have administrative experience supporting clinical teams and or departments. With experience and confidence using Microsoft 365 systems in their day to day work.

The post holder will work with a team of administrators, nurses, practitioners and clinicians. Supporting the lifecycle of clinical research studies from set-up to close out. Developing and maintaining important team systems.

Senior Research Support Administrator:



General and Administrative
• Create, develop, and maintain systems to ensure smooth running of the studies, across several different sites, and to ensure activities and processes take place in a timely way.
• Assemble, collate, disseminate, and feedback data and information regarding study recruitment and progress.
• Procure according to set budgets.
• Manage the day-to-day study finances, liaising with the Study Coordinators, Study Sponsors, R & D Finance, ensuring that study invoices are raised as per study contracts.
• Deal sensitively and appropriately with all communications within the team, the trust, other trusts, and external sponsors and clinical research organisations.
• Deal with a range of enquiries, taking appropriate action and liaising with the appropriate staff, as necessary.

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within the healthcare sector.

Example duties and responsibilities:
• Respond to email queries from stakeholders in a timely manner
• Answering the phone and dealing with phone queries
• Help Hiring Managers with any questions and queries
• Attending a weekly team meeting
• Provide a robust administration function that underpins the delivery of a high quality service and maintain effective working relationships with clinical, nursing and administrative staff.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
