Crynodeb
To provide highly specialist physiotherapy intervention for own caseload of patients with a variety of medical and frailty conditions, in an acute hospital setting. To assess, treat and manage own caseload using highly specialist knowledge and skills as an autonomous practitioner, including the maintenance of comprehensive records. To undertake a team leader role, alongside the Clinical Lead Physiotherapists in managing, planning and delivering the physiotherapy service for patients with medical and frailty conditions. To deputise for the Clinical Lead Physiotherapists in her/his absence. To supervise, teach and develop less experienced physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and student physiotherapists. To take part in the on-call emergency rota and work a 7 day pattern. The successful candidate will work as part of the wider physiotherapy team based at the Princess Royal university Hospital and Orpington Hospital as part of Kings College Hospital assisting and leading on service development and quality improvement, ensuring a high standard of Physiotherapy care is provided and ensuring the well being of their team.
