Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual looking to join a dynamic manufacturing team? This company is seeking a talented Surface Mount Machine Operator to be a part of their thriving operations in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. As a Surface Mount Machine Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:
- Hand soldering Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 & 001 standards
- Performing fine soldering work under magnification
- Assembling surface mount and through-hole components
- Undertaking detailed standard assembly and manufacturing activities
- Ensuring all work is completed to the required procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and timescales
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior knowledge and experience in circuit card assembly
- Excellent dexterity for fine work
- The ability to read and interpret layouts
- A willingness to work flexible shift patterns
- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- ESD training
Desirable skills include PC literacy and experience with IPC 610 & 001 hand soldering.
