Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Doctor in Anaesthesia and Critical Care at North Devon District Hospital, part of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (Northern Services). The acute hospital in Barnstaple provides a full complement of secondary care services for the local population, including emergency care, cancer services, maternity and paediatric services. The posts have dedicated development time in specific areas. One post has dedicated time to support the department meet ACSA accreditation and the other has dedicated Educational time to support ongoing training within the department. The successful applicant will join a friendly Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain on the Obstetric rota. They will have a consultant on call and senior resident anaesthetist to support them during their on calls, and have development time planned into their rota. The role would be suitable for those who have completed Stage 1 anaesthetic training and are looking for a dynamic and friendly department. Devon is consistently voted as one of the best places to live in England and North Devon has some of the best beaches in the UK, is classed as a World Surf Reserve and has the nearby National Parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor.
