Crynodeb
Overview
AMG North Weald Limited is an experienced logistics company. The role reports to the Operations Manager. You will be part of a hard-working team to ensure the smooth delivery of goods around the UK. The artic deliveries include curtain side, box trailer, container and ALS.
Responsibilities
• Daily vehicle safety checks, including sufficient fuel and ad-blue
• Maintain the safe custody of company fuel cards
• Work with the Warehouse Shipping Co-ordinators to load and deliver goods
• Ensure paperwork is completed and submitted correctly
• Ensure HGV safety driving standards are met
• Complete a weekly timesheet
Location and Commitments
• Monday to Friday
• Basic Hours – 10 hours per day / 50 hours per week
• Based at our warehouse on North Weald Airfield
• Overtime: Monday to Saturday, is time and a half. Sunday and Bank Holidays is double time
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
• Clean driving licence - LGV C+E
• Good all-round communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
• A flexible attitude to work and hours
• Own transport, due to the warehouse location
Desirable:
• Two years’ + class 1 professional driving experience
• Two references required
• ALS experience
• Working with a DGSA
• FORS Knowledge/Training
• ADR Vocational Licence
Salary / Benefits:
• Salary, based on experience + overtime + night out
• Paid monthly on, or before, the 20th
• 24 days holiday + bank holidays
• NEST company pension
• Annual discretionary bonus
