Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Euston Square - Up to £46,000 An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Euston Square has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical engineer to be based across 4 commercial offices around W1 and North West London, working in a team of 2 engineers. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in Electrical or mechanical building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £46,000, overtime, further training, and a potential route into further career progression.
1 site based near Euston Square, 1 site based near Bond Street, 1 site based near Borehamwood and 1 site based near Harrow
Hours of work
- Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm
- No Call out!
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control Panels
- Changing Ballast
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Compliance and logbooks
- Chillers and pressurisation units
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
- Escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements
- Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing
