We are currently recruiting for multiple Station Administrators to join a team based within Byker, Newcastle on a Full-time basis.
Duties Within Role:
• Promote the Service vision, ‘Creating the safest community’.
•Ensure that all policies and procedures within the function are adhered to and in accordance with regulations, lean thinking and value for money.
•Be responsible for the provision of a full range of administrative and clerical duties to support the effective operation of Service Delivery.
•Provide support, and cover the workload of the other Assistants when required, carrying out relevant duties to ensure the services of the function are delivered efficiently.
•Be responsible for the provision of an effective diary management and room booking service, proactively undertaking regular checks to ensure that all administrative systems are maintained and appropriate actions taken.
•Prepare for and attend meetings, taking accurate notes, producing minutes, distributing relevant documentation and following up action points as required.
•Undertake duties in relation to the Financial Management System (SAP) including procurement and the administration and monitoring of departmental budget.
The Candidate:
•Must have previous experience in an office environment.
•Must hold 5 GCSE's including English and Maths at grades A-C (4-9) OR equivalent.
