A new opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst as we are bringing together the wider health and social care systems to
deliver and embed a cultural change programme that uses technology as the first line of response.

Are you our new Business Analyst (TEC) Responsible for the work on a number of IT and Data related assignments? You would clearly
elicit, define and document stakeholder requirements whilst managing the progress of projects and evaluating the quality and
impact in a ‘full life cycle’ role.

What you’ll be doing

* You will proactively provide your analytical skills whilst working closely with the IT Development Team, Operational Users and
Project Stakeholders.
* You will review, study and understand current applications, systems, practices, procedures and habits in order to gain an
understanding of system capabilities, in turn recommending improvements to systems and processes.
* Creating informative, actionable and repeatable analysis that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for
improvement.
* Reviewing multiple streams of often conflicting data, identifying the anomalies to extract the valued data. The data may come
from suppliers or internally and therefore the ability to understand the relevance and criticality of it is essential.
* Creating timely impact assessments relating to requests or proposed changes by analysing current and proposed processes and
capability to assess action required. .

* Managing and carrying out sensitive negotiations around change in scope and balancing priorities with changing customer needs.
* You will define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements. Recommend controls by identifying
problems and writing improved procedures. Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing
progress reports and recommending actions.
* You will construct technical and non-technical documentation and diagrams including: Project Initiation Documents, Project
Plans, Business Cases, Functional Requirement Specifications, Risk Registers, User Guides, Work Instructions, Standard
Operating Procedures, Sign off Procedures.
* Participate in the implementation of software development changes, this will range from very small bug fixes to complete
application re-writes.

All about you

* You’ll have the ability to be flexible and effectively prioritise efficiencies on time to a high standard.
* You will also have the ability to utilise office software packages to a high level
* You will be able demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex data in various
forms and articulate risk in a language understood by other business areas.

You will also hold the following qualifications:

* Educated to degree level or suitable experience (min 3+ years in a similar role) essential.

* Salary of up to £45,000 per annum DOE
* 40 hours Monday - Friday 08.30 - 1700
