About the team
The Support Officer plays a pivotal role within Ofqual’s Strategy Unit, which is central to the organisation and interacts with teams across Ofqual.
This team is tasked with shaping, communicating, tracking, and reporting on Ofqual’s strategy, gathering insights from stakeholders, and leading strategic projects to enhance the long-term effectiveness and impact of Ofqual’s work. Additionally, the team collaborates closely with various departments to implement strategic initiatives, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to ensure the achievement of goals and objectives.
Person Specification
We’re looking for someone to join us to support delivery of critical work, playing a crucial role in contributing to Ofqual's strategic objectives by providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating and supporting processes, facilitating meetings, assisting in project management, and producing, editing, and formatting documentation.
The Support Officer will also manage day-to-day activities such as monitoring the team mailbox, allocating work, and resolving queries. Additionally, they will engage with other teams to support the delivery of activities, maintain and develop Ofqual systems, and present information in various formats. The role will provide support to the manager in delivering business and corporate plans, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
