An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a young male within his own home to remain independent. Our client is interested in gaming and farming so somebody with similar interests would be ideal. There is a family dog outside at the property so applicant must be comfortable with animals.
As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include:
• Support to access the community and complete activities such as attending the cinemas, browsing shops and visiting cafes.
• Personal care is not required but prompting to keep up with personal hygiene is required.
• Assistance with shopping.
Hours available up to 15 per week with a generous hourly rate of £12.70. Including 5.6weeks paid annual leave and access to a workplace pension.
The hours can be worked flexibly, to be discussed at interview but mainly requires support in the afternoons Mon-Fri.
We are looking for a caring, proactive, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Previous experience in a caring role is essential and experience/knowledge of autism would be ideal. A positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A driver with a full clean license is essential due to our client living in a remote location.
