**Four Day Week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) - 07:30-17:30
**Occasional Saturdays - 08:00-12:00, Call-Outs & Overtime.
**Salary £28-35K/annum Depending on Experience
Bearing Supplies (Norwich) Ltd is the largest independent supplier to the MRO market in Norfolk for bearings and power transmissions.
As the Technical Sales Advisor / Sales Office Supervisor your role will be to support the existing sales team whist looking for opportunities to grow our existing accounts and seek out new clients for the company.
MAIN DUTIES:
Researching / establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with customers.
Dealing with people in an engineering environment at all levels.
Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
Recording and maintaining client contact data.
Liaising with other members of the sales / purchasing teams.
Maintain social media and online sales platforms.
Support purchasing activities with planned and adhoc sourcing.
Support warehouse and transport team with stock management and deliveries.
Identify any improvements and make recommendations for change.
Ensure that health and safety meet the required standards.
Ensure staff comply to health, safety and environmental regulations.
To positively promote the company and its products and services and ensure that a professional image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues.
To undertake, when requested by the managing directors, additional reasonable tasks and responsibilities not outlined above in order to support the success and continuing performance of the company.
This role often includes deputising for the manager in their absence, as well as supporting them in their daily duties.
KEY SKILLS:
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels of seniority.
Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
Articulate, confident communicator and presenter.
Extremely keen attention to detail.
Strong team player, but equally good at taking initiative.
Punctual and professional.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical product knowledge would be great but we can train you.
Previously worked in internal / external sales.
Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
Full UK drivers license is essential preferably clean.
Competent in the use of Microsoft programs.
