Job Title: M&E Quantity Surveyor - Intermediate to Senior Level
Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Negotiable (Contract or Permanent)

Our client is a well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor known for delivering complex, high-value projects across London and the South East. With project values currently ranging from £3 million to £25 million, they work with both main contractors and end clients to deliver full design & build packages, high-end commercial fit-outs, and large-scale installations.
With a reputation built on quality, precision, and reliability, this company is expanding its commercial team to support a growing order book. They offer a dynamic, professional environment with strong opportunities for progression and the flexibility to engage either permanently or on a freelance basis.
Position Overview:
They are looking to appoint an M&E Quantity Surveyor who can hit the ground running, commercially manage projects from pre-construction through to final account, and work closely with project and operational teams to ensure commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
*Full commercial responsibility on M&E projects from £3m to £25m
*Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
*Measurement, valuations, and managing applications for payment
*Cost tracking, CVRs, and reporting to senior leadership
*Support in value engineering and change management
*Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain positive working relationships
*Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts
*Ensure commercial risks are identified and managed proactively
Candidate Requirements:
*Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the building services industry
*Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical packages
*Comfortable working independently or as part of a team on complex projects
*Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge (JCT/NEC)
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
*Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
