We are currently seeking someone to join our team on a bank staff basis, which would involve a small number of hours each week with the potential for increased hours as we expand the area.
Do you love animals? Are you reliable and trustworthy? Can you be depended upon to always show up on time, and to care for pets as if they were your own? If you’re looking for a role that will enable you to be out and about, enjoying the great outdoors, rather than being stuck behind a till or desk all day, then we have the perfect role for you! To be successful in this position you will be willing to work outdoors in all weathers. You’ll be playing a vital and active role in a small but rapidly-growing business.
Responsibilities and Duties

· Walking dogs (may be solo or group walks) in local areas as directed.
· Following pet care plans for dogs and other small animals to look after them in their own home.
· Working to a weekly rota.
· This is a responsible role that involves working alone with animals.
Qualifications
· Candidates with degrees or additional qualifications, especially in subjects relating to animal care & customer service, will be at an advantage (however this is not essential).
Person Specification
There are some key attributes that we require as Essential (E) and some that are Desirable (D). Please ensure you can meet at least the Essential criteria before completing the Job Application Form.
ESSENTIAL:
· Be aged 18 or over for insurance reasons.
· Be willing to complete a DBS check (please note we are unable to offer this role to anyone with a criminal record).
· Have Internet access with Wi-fi.
· Be well-presented, animal-lover, good with people, communication skills, reliable.
· Be physically capable of the demands of this role as you will be out walking most of the day every day.
· Hold a full UK driving licence with no points and have access to your own vehicle, insured for business purposes.
DESIRABLE:
· Experience of working with animals
