We are recruiting a Contract Monitoring Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 18.5 Hours
Contract Type: Permanent/Part Time
Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adul Services Commissioning Team

We pay an attractive salary of £17,157 - £18,517 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

The role has a focus on quality assurance, safeguarding and contract compliance.



The postholder will undertake the monitoring of commissioned services/contracts in social care, this will include joint monitoring with Health colleagues and liaison with Care Inspectorate Wales and Social Care Wales where necessary in order to make appropriate recommendations to improve the quality of services and support the management of poor performance, escalating concerns as a matter of priority.



You will develop, maintain and contribute to a range of effective information systems to facilitate the monitoring, evaluation and review of local service performance, activity and stability of the social care market in the Borough.



For the role, we ask that you have:

A QCF 3 on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
Experience of working in a care setting or service area that demonstrates active responsibility for managing service delivery to vulnerable adults and possess or be committed to achieve a QCF level 5 within 2 years of appointment.
Or Educated to Degree level.
Have the ability to travel within the boundaries of the Caerphilly Borough on numerous occasions throughout the working day within a set time period to ensure that the service is provided.
