The purpose of the Build Engineer role is to be part of a team helping the rapid rollout of ultra-fast fibre networks in rural towns and villages across the Highlands. Reporting to the Build Manager you will manage the network build as well as personally test & commission the network.

At HBNL, our mission is to bridge the digital divide by providing future-proofed, ultra-fast fibre broadband to underserved, rural communities across Scotland.

We put people at the heart of everything we do, providing a dynamic, supportive environment where customer centricity is championed. That’s why our customers love our product, rating us Excellent on Trustpilot.

We’ve undertaken significant growth, but we’ve got big plans to do more. Join us to help shape the future of rural broadband in Scotland.

As Build Engineer, you will be leading the build and commissioning of an XGS-PON network constructed using the latest network cabinets and transmission equipment. Coaching and supporting the build partner to ensure any blockers to the plan are highlighted and escalated.
